The IT Asset Disposition Solution solution includes the following major components:
- Secured Logistics: We will pick up and securely transport the IT assets directly from locations to a secure PVA facility where they will be separated based on equipment resale value. Enterprise equipment of value will be sent to PVA to be remarketed for the highest possible value to the secondary markets and end user customers worldwide.
- Asset Audit Reporting: Prior to leaving a site, we will provide a count of assets by asset type that will be removed (“Bill of Lading”) and obtain an authorized signature from a Customer representative. Within 30 days of the pickup, we will provide a final Asset Audit report by pickup site. The report will contain the serial number, asset tag, make and model, component specifications, grade and testing status of all assets processed. Enterprise equipment of value will be sent to a PVA facility for resale at a component level. Enterprise assets of value will be tested and assigned a fair market value. Customer assets will be available via a virtual warehouse application for redeployment as needed. All resale results and proceeds due to the Member are available 24/7 online.
- Environmental Compliance: PVA will make sure all assets will be recycled in full compliance with all local, state, federal, or in-country regulations. We certify that no electronic waste will be sent to landfills or illegally exported. Our recycling processes have been audited and certified by the R2/RIOS Certified Electronics Recycler program and our facilities have been audited and ISO 14001-certified by an independent audit firm. A signed certificate of environmentally compliant disposal will be available to the Customer within 30 days of pickup along with the serialized Asset Audit Report.
- Single Point of Contact: PVA will provide a dedicated account management team and secure login to the PVA online customer portal. This will provide the Customer with complete visibility into all equipment, sales results, and a single point of contact for scheduling, tracking and reporting on all activities nationwide.
